Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Southbridge, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will handle a variety of financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organization while utilizing your bookkeeping expertise.

Responsibilities:

Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial records are up-to-date and accurate.

Utilize QuickBooks for recording and maintaining financial data.

Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports for management review.

Monitor financial discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Assist with special financial projects as assigned to support company operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.

Maintain organized and secure records of all financial transactions. Requirements - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
