Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Location: Auburn, MA

Job Type: Permanent - Direct Placement | Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: Up to $99,000 - Based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to support and manage payroll operations within our organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, tax compliance, and year-end reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and regulations, along with a collaborative mindset to work within a two-person payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.

Manage tax payments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Prepare and submit year-end reports and documentation.

Support and guide team members involved in payroll processing.

Utilize payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, and COINS effectively.

Ensure accurate data entry, including deductions and adjustments.

Maintain organized and audit-ready payroll records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of payroll experience.

Proficiency in payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, COINS).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.

Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.

This role is based in a professional office setting and offers the opportunity to join a growing construction company that values teamwork and collaboration. You'll be part of a two-person payroll team, sharing responsibilities and contributing to a dynamic and supportive environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $99000.00/yr.

Will be provided by client once the person is offered.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Auburn,MA.
