SUMMARY
The Product Manager - Filter Connectors & DC Products is responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and growth of a key product portfolio serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. This role drives profitability through strong product management, cross-functional collaboration, and customer engagement. Acting as the central link between Sales, Engineering, and Operations, the Product Manager ensures new product introductions, pricing strategies, and long-term roadmaps align with Amphenol CDI's commitment to innovation, quality, and customer success.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Own full product lifecycle for Filter Connectors and DC Products, including portfolio strategy, pricing, profitability, and product roadmap execution.
Manage product line P&L; develop and maintain standard price lists, cost models, and gross margin guidelines to support business targets.
Lead new product development initiatives; oversee project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment to ensure on-time, on-budget launches.
Develop and execute product and capability strategies that align with company growth objectives and customer needs.
Collaborate with Sales to engage key customers, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, and translate requirements into actionable product plans.
Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and technology developments to inform portfolio strategy and maintain competitive positioning.
Provide forecasting input and capacity planning support; drive lead-time reduction and material liability management with Operations and Supply Chain.
Support Engineering and Operations teams to ensure product quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.
Develop and deliver training materials and technical presentations to internal teams and external customers.
Provide marketing content and collateral development support for assigned product lines, including sales tools, presentations, and promotional material.
Prepare and deliver monthly reports summarizing revenue, margin performance, new product development progress, key successes, and market trends.
Participate in strategic planning, M&A assessments, and integration activities related to assigned product areas.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, or Business Development, preferably in the aerospace and defense industries.
Experience managing product portfolios, driving new product development, and establishing pricing strategies to achieve profitability goals.
Proven record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to deliver technical and commercial objectives.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management accredited certifications (CAPM) preferred.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Conversational in any other language is a plus.
JOB SKILLS
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and SharePoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
Strong business acumen with the ability to manage P&L and cost structures.
Skilled in product lifecycle management, pricing analysis, and strategic portfolio planning.
Familiarity with manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and quality standards.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, financial, and market research skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to @type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. TRAVEL
Approximately 20% of travel is expected.
SALARY INFORMATION:
According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $110,000 and $135,000 annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Amphenol CDI considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations.
