Summary This position is located in the Space Portfolio Division (SPD), Facilities Services Directorate (FSD), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS). The incumbent provides the highest level of organizational management support and guidance to the SPD Director, Deputy Director, and staff in those areas of responsibility which require administrative and management and various other programs and initiatives that are integral to the success of the mission of FSD, WHS and Department of Defense (DoD). Responsibilities Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Oversees administrative support functions, maintaining rosters, and managing internal taskers. Leads document archiving initiatives, ensuring secure storage, controlled access, and proper classification of division records. Provides training and day-to-day guidance to staff on records retention, document life-cycle management, data classification, and secure destruction procedures. Serves as the division Training Coordinator, identifying and recommending relevant training programs that support professional development and mission needs. Serves as the primary IT and equipment custodian, overseeing the issuance, tracking, and management of IT assets, including laptops, mobile devices, and software licenses. You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability to: assist with management studies such as workforce efficiency and cost analysis studies, assisting with the management of IT assets, to include access to network systems, and property control, and assisting with the management of organizational programs such as awards, training, and records management.
