Job Title: Project Manager - Vogtle

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with over 10 to 15 years of expertise in leading and managing complex projects. This senior role requires providing strategic direction, leadership, and mentorship to project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, overseeing the efficient allocation of resources.

Define and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables while collaborating with stakeholders.

Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to proactively address project challenges.

Monitor and control project progress, maintaining accurate project documentation and providing regular reports to executive management.

Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring project alignment with organizational goals.

Apply advanced project management methodologies, innovative approaches, and continuous improvement strategies.

Mentor and coach project management teams, sharing industry expertise and best practices.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's or master's degree in project management, business, engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects.

Advanced knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and software.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Ability to adapt to dynamic project environments and lead multidisciplinary project teams.

Strong experience in managing projects that impact organizational strategies.

Project management certification (e.g., PMP - Project Management Professional) is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Nuclear power plant experience is a plus.

Advanced certifications and specializations are highly preferred.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment, requiring collaboration with diverse teams. The role demands adaptability to changing project needs and the ability to lead in high-stakes situations. Dress code and other work environment specifics are guided by project requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Waynesboro, Georgia.

Per Diem offered for candidates over 50miles out. Paid for days worked.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
