Join our dynamic team working within the Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business. We develop, manufacture, and support cutting-edge infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles, and airborne platforms.
Responsibilities
Analyze, design, develop, and implement new and existing electro-optic and infrared systems/sub-systems, including architectural design and requirements engineering.
Determine system specifications and support the acquisition of hardware, software, or subcontractor services as needed.
Drive technology development and ensure completion of activities on time and within budget, leading integration and test activities.
Design, develop, analyze, document, and support the testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
Complete technical projects independently and mentor other engineers.
Review customer specifications and requirements to develop cost-effective designs.
Lead major problem resolution efforts and support regaining or attaining customer partner status.
Participate in new business capture teams and provide technical expertise.
Provide budget, cost, and schedule input for design assignments.
Document component and subsystem specifications and material requirements.
Analyze designs and oversee product line architecture, ensuring technologies interoperate or connect appropriately.
Attend engineering, customer, or business meetings as required.
Support business development by developing and presenting new concepts, technologies, or applications.
Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services.
Support program design to cost and design for manufacturing requirements, creating proto@types to mitigate development risks.
Communicate effectively with manufacturing, supply chain, program management, and customers.
Prepare complex and significant proposals.
Provide technical expertise and assistance to engineers and support personnel.
Coordinate and confer with technical management, other professionals, technicians, and support personnel regarding technical activities and progress.
Support and promote the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
Essential Skills
8 to 10 years of experience in Electro-Optics and Infrared Systems.
Strong skills in systems, electro-optics, infrared design, and requirements engineering.
Proficiency in determining system specifications and acquiring hardware and software.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with defense, ground vehicle, and airborne platforms.
Capability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
