We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.About the Role:As an Actuarial Analyst in the Insurance Actuarial Group of Everest Insurance (a member of Everest Re Group, Ltd.), you'll support the Financial Lines/Specialty Insurance division-covering Public and Private D&O, Employment Practices, E&O, Cyber, Surety, and Trade Credit. This hybrid role is based out of our Warren or New York City office, with three days in-office and two remote.You bring high energy, a strong desire to learn and grow, and a passion for building new tools and capabilities in a rapidly expanding business.What You'll Do:Collaborate closely with Underwriting to support strategic initiativesDevelop and enhance rating modelsContribute to planning and portfolio strategyMonitor portfolio pricing and riskSupport new product developmentWhat You Bring:2-4 years of experience in the property-casualty insurance industry, with a background in commercial lines pricingDemonstrated progress in passing actuarial examsAdvanced Excel skillsBonus points if you're proficient in SQL, Excel VBA, Power BI, R, SAS, or PythonWhat You're Great At:Building collaborative relationshipsThriving with autonomy, responsibility, and visibilitySolving problems with attention to detail and learning new tools quicklyCommunicating effectively with both analytical and business-oriented stakeholdersThe base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $115,500 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
