Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward Primary Responsibilities HDR is currently in need of a Water/Wastewater Engineer to work as a member of the Water Business Group in our Cincinnati Ohio office. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member for studies and / or detailed design and construction services for water / wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection / distribution systems. In the role of Water/Wastewater Engineer, we will count on you to: Create detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and collection/distribution systems. Prepare drawings write specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater systems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation. Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects. Perform other duties as needed. Keywords: Water, Wastewater, Treatment, Pumpstation, Pipeline, Civil, Environmental, Engineering, Construction, Hydraulic, #LI-EH1 Required Qualifications B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. 5 years of experience PE Experience in evaluating, designing, and/or developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects is preferred. Ideal candidate is self-motivated, an excellent communicator (written and verbal), attentive to detail, able to work independently and with a project team to the completion of a task. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software is preferable. An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must. Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
