Manage all aspects of field and shop projects representing the best
interest of Fastco and having the authority to make binding project
specific decisions for the company including but not limited to
sales, quality, safety, productivity, scheduling, resource
allocation input and client relationships.
Be responsible for project development including estimating, ids and
contract preparation.
Be the financially responsible for projects, including
estimating/quote preparations assistance, as well as, contract
review/ preparation, procurement, receivables, payables, payroll,
sales taxes, profit margins, project costs, projections, contract
requirements, and insurance requirements and certificates.
Prepare and execute project contracts in accordance with company
policies and procedures, ensure contract requirements are being
maintained by all parties involved, prepare and submit change
orders, detailed schedules, QC documents, and any other reports as
required by the contract.
Ensure all federal, state, and local laws, rules, codes, and any
other requirements are being followed.
Participate in ways to work efficiently and effectively to grow and
improve our customer base. Be involved in project development
including customer relations and submitting estimates and proposals.
Represent Fastco Corporation in a professional and positive manner
at all times.
Prepare and submit a weekly summary report of your activities and
the status of each project under your care and control to the Senior
Project Manager and/or owners.
Manage project Supervisors and Foremen work assignments, provide
clear written instruction on weekly expectations, schedules, and
recovery plans. Ensure supervisor has clear understanding of project
scope, cost tracking (i.e. phases) and contract requirements.
Communicate with project Supervisor(s) or Foremen as needed.
Meet with customers and clients, interpret their needs, and work
with them to help develop solutions and schedules to resolve
problems.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by all
employees. Review and submit improvements and suggestions to Senior
Project Manager and/or owners.
Ensure all project sites are maintained in a safe working
environment and all employees are provided a safe working
environment and are complying with all company safety policies and
procedures.
Manage project equipment resources through shop supervisor and
ensure availability, reliability, and new equipment needs. Utilize
Supervisor and Foremen input.
Become involved in understanding company financials in order to
provide or participate in providing projections on company costs,
budgets, overhead calculations and methods, and capital
requirements.
