Director, Program Management Office
Reporting to the Sr. General Manager, this is an ideal opportunity to step into a challenging role directly impacting the security of our nation. As our business continues to -grow, CW is looking for an experienced Director of Program Management who can lead our Program Management Office, support/drive transformational change, and help take the next steps in customer satisfaction, improved delivery performance, and outstanding program performance.
LOCATION: Bethlehem, PA
Salary: $190,000.00 - $225,000.00 plus bonus.

YOUR CHALLENGE:
As a dynamic and agile Sr Leader, you will provide executive level Program leadership, coordinating cross functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance functions (i.e. Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Planning, Scheduling, Supply Chain, and the Continuous Improvement team) for US Navy platforms. This role is critical to assuring EPD develops and executes production and product development plans which meet cost, schedule and technical requirements. In addition to the functions which he/she is directly responsible for, this position requires continuous interaction with external Customers, Suppliers, and senior CW Leadership.
PMO Team leadership and development of key personnel
Responsible for programs and projects cost, schedule and technical performance
Implement best practices and proven processes which drive program performance, operational improvement, productivity and predictability across the business unit.
Create a culture characterized by strong attention to performance, customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and personal accountability
Develop critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive on-time delivery, world class quality, and business financial performance
Coordinates the planning and execution of manufacturing schedules across the entire business
Chair the Daily Production Control Center (PCC) Meeting
Develop and share daily Productivity Metrics, including required actions to support the program, our customers, our employees and our business unit
Present and manage various Progress Trackers related to all major programs and components
Manage bottlenecks to drive continuous improvement and decrease lead time
Conduct regular program performance reviews with Customers and with CW Executive leadership
Engage appropriate departments and gain stakeholder alignment
Develop Recovery Plans to support product delivery schedules
Resolve technical, people, and production issues in a manner that streamlines day-to-day operations and effectively addresses the root cause of any problem
Ensures the product is manufactured to specifications and procedures under the guidelines of verbatim compliance to work instructions
Plans and controls the implementation of new manufacturing technologies and techniques that enhance efficiency and quality
Define and implement individual training programs based on the assessment of individual performance
Mentor Project Management team in program and project management processes
WHAT YOU BRING:
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances
BS degree in Engineering or equivalent mix of working experience/education. An advanced degree in business and/or an engineering discipline is a plus
Five (5) to ten (10) years of major program management experience (PMP preferred)
Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as Manufacturing Executive, preferably producing high mix, low volume rotating mechanical assemblies
Five (5) years of production planning and leadership experience
Proven track record of operational, hands-on factory experience
Demonstrated ability to lead major performance improvement campaign
Material processing knowledge (Machining and Fabrication)
Knowledge of Industry Standards (Military, ASTM, SAE, etc)
Exceptional Customer interface skills
Proven team builder and problem solver
Excellent organization, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills
Self-starter, motivated, and action-oriented individual able to excel in an environment with individual accountability
Other duties as necessary
