Summary You will serve as an Assistant Site Security Manager in the Security Division, Corporate Operations Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Kauai Island, HI. Responsibilities You will manage a variety of security services across multiple security disciplines. You will manage physical security (PHYSEC), antiterrorism/force protection (ATFP), information security (INFOSEC), operations security (OPSEC), personnel security (PERSEC), insider threat (lnT), and security education, training, and awareness (SETA). You will provide technical assistance, guidance, and oversight for all security disciplines at the Advanced Radar Detection Laboratory (ARDEL) site. You will analyze security needs, plan, and direct implementation of security measures, such as security or safety systems. You will recommend equipment, methods, procedures, and systems to maintain compliance and minimize risk. You will support site personnel in completion of isolated personnel reports (ISOPREP), manage foreign visitors, conduct ATFP exercises, and provide assistance for the communications security (COMSEC) program. You will develop and establish security procedures for the site for protection of individuals, groups, and property. You will plan, schedule, coordinate, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of the operation of the security programs at NSWC PHD ARDEL. You will ensure that access to classified information is limited to appropriately cleared personnel with a need-to-know, including access by visitors. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of qualifying experience at or equivalent to the NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of qualifying experience: Expansive knowledge of security equipment, devices, and systems. Planning and implementing protective methods and security procedures. Knowledge of security programs to include PHYSEC, ATFP, INFOSEC, OPSEC, PERSEC, InT, SETA, and COMSEC.
