Summary You will serve as an Administrative Officer in the Navy Munitions Command Pacific of NMCPAC EAST ASIA DIVISION. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the preparation, budget oversight, and problem resolution for assigned projects. You will ensure administrative staff complete training, adhering to standardized processes, and has access to the tools and resources for providing efficient and effective customer services to their command. You will prepare reports, presentations, awards, and other correspondence in accordance with command procedures. You will perform on-going qualitative reviews to determine compliance with electronic record keeping regulations AND develop long-range Records Management Program plans. You will manage the annual travel plan for NMCPAC EAD. You will prepare travel itineraries, make reservations, AND coordinate meetings utilizing the Defense Travel System (DTS). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing administrative management functions, including gathering information, identifying and analyzing issues related to strategic planning, and developing recommendations for cost savings and productivity improvements.
