We're looking for a Building Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Engineering Design Organization! This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on HVAC and plumbing system designs for industrial, municipal, and commercial facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience performing load calculations, developing equipment specifications, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs into building projects.Be part of the dynamic culture! Join us in office, three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Data Collection and Analysis: Produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats. Engineering Drawings: Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to create engineering drawings for the communication, evaluation, and implementation of engineering solutions. Engineering Solutions Design: Contribute to the development of, and implement feasibility testing of, proposed engineering solutions to provide feedback and data to validate the design. Technical Developments Recommendation: Research and suggest technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users' needs. Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. Product and Solution Development: Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products. Research: Support others by carrying out a range of research activities. Testing: Develop testing standards and procedures under the direction of professional colleagues. Project Management: Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities. Equipment Installation: Help to install complex systems and conduct inspections of equipment with guidance. Technical Troubleshooting: Support technical troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the quick and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of technical issues with equipment and experiments. What you will bring to the team:Education Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Experience General Experience: Very limited work based experience (0 to 3 months) Managerial Experience: None #LI-IP1 Salary Range: $22.00-$23.00 based on experience and location.
