Position Overview:
As our Configuration Management/Document Control and Records Management Specialist, this position will be responsible for supporting the Nuclear Operations Group (NOG) Jonesborough, in person at the NOG-J plant site. You will utilize document controls to store, track, and manage documents and records including plant operating procedures, work instructions, etc.

Your Day to Day as a Configuration Management/Document Control and Records Management Specialist:
Maintain NOGJ Configuration Management/Document Control and Records Management programs and ensure compliance with applicable rules, laws and regulatory requirements
Understand basic concepts and assist in documenting configuration management processes and procedures, revision status, and change control
Provide guidance, direction, and insight into document/configuration management and records management processes/practices
Verify that submitted documents conform to procedures and guidelines
Assist users with search, retrieval and submittals of documents, drawings, procedures, etc
Distribute and transmit documents and records to appropriate parties
Audit document control and records management system for discrepancies
Interface with auditors, both internal and external.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the NOGJ document and records management systems
Continually look to improve document control and records management processes and procedures
Perform other duties as determined by NOG-J management
Required Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment or an Associate's degree with at least 3 years of experience in an industrial environment.
Prior experience in document control/configuration management, document control, records management, or data entry is required
Must possess strong computer literacy and knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Must have strong attention to detail and systematic approach to work
Must have the ability to manage competing priorities is required
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
Must possess the desire to learn and take initiative
Must have good written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to interface effectively with all levels of personnel within the organization
Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and/or a Department of Energy (DOE) clearance
Prior manufacturing and industrial experience would be beneficial.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
