Position Overview:
The Buyer will play a critical role in meeting Purchasing goals and business expectations for cost, quality, and service.
Location:
On-site in Erwin, TN
Your Day to Day as a Buyer:
Processes requisitions.
Collects and compiles required documentation for government contracting compliance.
Issues purchase orders.
Manages vendor relationships.
Supports cost reduction strategies.
Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field OR a high school diploma/equivalent plus a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
Must possess superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Analytical skills with past experience tracking, reporting and analyzing/evaluating supplier risks/performance.
Familiarity with Government Purchasing regulations FARS and DFARS.
Microsoft Excel basic spreadsheet capabilities along with Word and Power Point basic skills.
Must be able to clearly communicate with suppliers and in-house technical personnel.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

The base salary range for this position in [[stateProvince]] at the start of employment is expected to be between $[[custsalaryMin]] and $[[custsalaryMax]] per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
