We are seeking talented Associates to join our Underwriting Rotational Development Program. We are a global team focused on disciplined capital allocation and long-term value creation for all stakeholders, who care deeply about our impact on communities and the wider world.Your Impact & OpportunityAs a Program participant, you will need to think both creatively and analytically, problem solve, and make decisions equipped with technical knowledge you will garner in the program. You will receive excellent on-the-job training from our distinguished and highly experienced underwriters, as well as our functional leaders across both insurance and reinsurance businesses. An added benefit is the opportunity to launch your career with a two-year educational and developmental program alongside a cohort of your peers!Throughout the two years, you can expect four (4) rotations, exposure to our insurance and reinsurance businesses, instructor-led workshops, monthly spotlight speaker series with executive leadership, networking events, self-paced course work, and the like.You will be analyzing risks and preparing underwriting workups for new and renewal submissions, preparing quotes, binders, policies, and other documents to help streamline the underwiring processWith the support of supervisors, you will be communicating with local brokers about the risks, opportunities, and Everest's capabilitiesProviding renewal and new business writeups for underwriters to reviewAttending underwriting meetings and events on behalf of partnering teamsParticipating in marketing efforts with the team, establishing relationships with early career brokersAd Hoc project work in a variety of vertical initiativesDomestic travel is required; International travel may be requiredWhat You Bring: Experience & QualificationsYou are a graduating senior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/universityYou are a highly ambitious team player with excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, collaboration, and negotiation skillsProficient in MS Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPointYou have leadership experience or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environmentEverest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite permanent US employment authorization to be eligible for considerationThe base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation is based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
