Supply Chain Clerk

Job Description

BAE Systems, one of the world's leading defense contractors and a stable Fortune 500 Company, is hiring a Supply Chain Clerk for our GOCO (government owned contractor operated) facilities located in Radford, VA . The role will primarily support Purchasing and Logistics activities.

Job Duties:

Enter receipts for supplier shipments into ERP system.

Address receipt discrepancies with internal customers and Purchasing.

Scan and box large files for storage.

Create and maintain spreadsheets to track critical Supply Chain activities.

Assist buyers with buying tasks such as obtaining Supplier Quotes, expediting, and closeout activities.

Perform other administrative duties as assigned by Supply Chain management to support Purchasing & Logistics departments.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

High School Diploma and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience

Experience with MS Word and Excel.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple priorities.

Ability to lift 25lbs.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Previous GOCO experience.

At least a year of Supply Chain experience.

Experience with Fourth Shift ERP system.

1-2 years of college education

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $43170 - $69073

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
