Description
OVERVIEW
The Sales Director is responsible for identifying and developing new customers and opportunities in the Aerospace and Defense markets. You will also complete follow-ups with existing customers to pursue new business. You will become the Cadrex expert for presentations and be the face of the company during all business development activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive new business development with both new and existing customers.
Develop a daily cadence to reach out to new and existing customers for new opportunities.
Establish and manage ongoing customer relationships, with a focus on organic growth.
Schedule and conduct at least four in-person customer meetings per month.
Collaborate closely with program managers for insights and business development planning.
Communicate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to exchange key information.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and drive mindset.
Manage strategic customer relationship roadmaps to ensure alignment with company goals.
Analyze customer end-markets and industry trends to identify business opportunities.
Own and oversee operational service level agreement (SLA) delivery and handle escalations.
Be accountable for revenue growth and relationship success within assigned accounts and regions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders-both internally and externally.
Lead the RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFQ (Request for Quote) processes for assigned accounts.
Drive continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and performance metrics.
Manage and lead the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with assigned clients.

Requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years in a similar role or relevant business development position.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive positive change.
Strong knowledge of contracts and strategic negotiation.
Proven customer service experience in a B2B technical or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with global and regional logistics and supply chain operations.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost analysis and forecasting.
Track record of successful change management and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with executive-level stakeholders.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting; MBA is a plus
LOCATION
Ideally the successful candidate will be within an hour driving distance of a major airport. Preference for candidates in central US due to integration with other Cadrex functions. Candidates will be able to work remotely with occasional travel ( ~25% per month) to the plant sites

Salary Description
$140,000-$170,000 yearly
