Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
12 years of experience in the design, construction, or commissioning of electrical systems for facilities.
10 years of experience with power distribution, protection schemes, and control systems.
10 years of experience with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or Professional Engineer license.
Experience in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations, switchgear, ATP/ATS, emergency power systems and their control systems, power monitoring, and electrical protection.
Experience with medium voltage systems.
Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or SCADA tools.
Experience with cross-discipline teams (e.g., structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural).
Experience working with data center equipment and environments with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Act as the lead electrical engineer for all third-party data center projects, ensuring adherence to Google's technical standards.
Coordinate with third-party engineering firms, aligning project goals and providing technical recommendations on all global projects.
Provide subject matter expertise on power systems, including protection, controls, and low/medium/high voltage distribution.
Lead the technical review and evaluation of electrical designs, ensuring they meet the required power, reliability, and safety standards.
