Join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Durham, New Hampshire, where you'll apply your engineering skills to real-world challenges that come with performing manufacturing processes like brazing, heat treat, and machining. Each process brings unique obstacles and opportunities to innovate, from developing new processes to integrating cutting-edge technologies into our manufacturing operations.
In this hands-on, onsite role, you'll gain invaluable experience in what truly means to bring something new to life on the production floor. What You Will Do:
You will work closely with experienced engineers to explore manufacturing engineering solutions.
You will participate in special projects that could involve cost reduction, special processes and machining processes activities.
You will collaborate with a capability and manufacturability analysis.
You will collaborate on cost estimates in preparation of new product proposals.
You will collaborate on the introduction of new technologies and process equipment to the manufacturing site, including machine programming and the development of new process documentation.
What You Will Learn:

You will learn about CORE methodology.
You will learn about Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions implementations.
You will learn about brazing, heat treat & CNC machine manufacturing capabilities.
You will gain hands-on experience with new process equipment technologies, learning both their capabilities and how to program them effectively.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience using Epicor.
Experience using LEAN/5s.
Experience with Heat Treating/Brazing.
Experience with CNC Machinery.
Experience with Solidworks.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
