Summary This position is located at Eisenhower Hall. This position is Weather Essential.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Sets up bars with beverages and condiments prior to opening the bar. Cleans equipment, glasses and utensils and the bar area on a continuing basis. Replenishes supplies as necessary and disposes of waste materials. Unloads and stacks supplies for storage. Prepares simple garnishes. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. No work experience required. 2. Candidates must be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. Skill and Knowledge: Recognizes shortages of supplies and replaces them as necessary. Ability to use knives and automatic slicers. Able to serve simple drinks under the close guidance of the Bartender. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: knowledge, skills, abilities, additional screening criteria and other characteristics. Education Additional Information Initial Cut-Off Date: Thursday, October 16, 2025 (Applications must be received by 11:59 PM EST). Subsequent referrals to the Hiring Manager will occur every two weeks thereafter based on management's need to fill positions. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.) Manual Application Option If applying manually, all completed manual application forms (along with resume and other supporting documentation) must be delivered to the West Point NAF Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) located at:681 Rogers Place Room G-10 West Point, New York 10996Monday thru Friday (not open on Federal Holidays) between the hours of 8:30a.m. and 3:00p.m. and NO LATER THAN 3:00p.m. on the closing date of the announcement. Please note, that West Point has a restricted access policy and any person who chooses to personally deliver an application to the CPAC should bring along at least one photo identification and report to the West Point Visitor Center at least 30 minutes prior to attempting to visit the CPAC NOTE: Applications will not be reviewed for completeness and any incomplete applications including missing responses to questionnaire items may result in an ineligible rating. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
