The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join the team in Hertford, NC.

The Procurement Agent will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to quickly and effectively address facilities and construction needs for a US Government customer. Work closely with internal departments to identify recurring service requirements and define clear specifications of those needs. Work will be taking place on a US Government facility, and requires an active security clearance.

Position Responsibilities:

Prepares and completes proprietary information agreements

Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

Partners with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs

Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

Proactively engages with various teams and program partners

Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years' experience in a customer service role

Experience with Vendor Management

Knowledge in Contract Management and negotiation

Procurement lifecycle knowledge (sourcing, negotiation, contract management)

Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams.

Technology Proficiency in Maximo and Microsoft Products

Skilled in analytical and problem-solving

Strong negotiation skills and vendor management

Experience in maintaining digital files

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $55,000 - $65,000
