Responsibilities
Assists in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning policies, programs and objectives.
Directs and monitors department supervisors to accomplish goals consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures.
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to maintain inventory levels and reduce lead times.
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
Liaising with clients to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle times, yield rates, and downtime
Collaborate with senior leadership to align production goals with business objectives and regional economic trends.
Manage production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing machine uptime and labor efficiency.
Oversee tooling, mold maintenance, and machine calibration to ensure consistent product quality.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations, including hazardous waste handling and air quality standards.
Hire, train, and mentor operators, technicians, and supervisors with a focus on retention and upskilling.
Lead daily safety huddles and enforce Life Saving Rules and plant safety protocols.
Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
Support EHS audits and improvement plans, including heat exposure protocols and PPE compliance.

Daily review housekeeping with focus on your areas.
Daily conduct conversations with team members on safety.
Conduct discipline when Life Saving Rules or plant rules are broken - document.
Reinforce procedures and if none exist; complete them.
Respond to employee concerns with the respect that it deserves.
Support EHS Framework scoring and improvement plans.
Do not communicate mixed messages. Reiterate that nothing is as important as safety.
Education and/or Experience
BA Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Business Administration, or a 4-year technical degree in related field is preferred.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in e process orientated operations and/or related industry.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence and memos
Ability to write detailed correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small or large group situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and sound judgement when dealing with problems.

Physical Demands

Work Environment - Continued
While performing the job duties, the employees will work in a production floor environment. The production floor has a moderate noise level. The production environment will at times contain fumes and airborne particles.
