Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Conklin, New York. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers the opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and balance responsibilities across accounts payable, administrative tasks, and client interaction.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

Enter invoice details into QuickBooks and maintain organized financial records.

Prepare and distribute checks as needed, adhering to payment schedules.

Perform general accounting duties to support multiple affiliated companies.

Handle receptionist responsibilities, including scheduling deliveries and managing inbound communications.

Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve workflow efficiency.

Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting and administrative tasks. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks for invoice entry and financial tracking.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.

Competence in handling receptionist and administrative duties.

High level of integrity and professionalism in managing sensitive information.
