Part-Time Shipping & Administrative Assistant

Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Part-Time, 20-30 hours per week

Must be proficient using QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Must have AP & AR Experience

The Shipping & Administrative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Office Manager to complete typical shipping and accounting and office functions including Shipping paperwork, Timecard Entry, Job Costing, Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, filing and other general duties.

Duties:

Generating all necessary shipping paperwork; packing list, bills of ladling, labels etc. Using UPS, FedEx, and 3PL sites to arrange shipments.

Entering Timecard Data.

Completing general accounting entries AP, AR, Deposits & other entries in QuickBooks as necessary.

Job Costing and Closing.

Filing of cost information in Jobs.

Completing other administrative projects as necessary.

Other duties as assigned

Skills:

The Assistant will be proficient using QuickBooks or similar accounting software, be proficient in use of MS Excel & MS Word, be able to work as part of team working with production and office personnel, manage multiple priorities in an organized approach to keep work up to date.
