Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence is seeking a driven and experienced Senior Technical Consultant to join Consulting Services team and play a pivotal role in delivering mission-critical solutions to our clients in the defense and intelligence sectors.
This is a remote position that requires occasional in office work as business dictates. Candidates must currently reside in the Maryland region.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
Lead design and implementation of complex technical solutions using industry best practices within Oracle's product and technology families
Apply your independent judgment in solving varied, complex challenges for our customers, delivering high-quality work products that exceed expectations
Collaborate with project teams and client leadership, contributing technical and functional expertise while building strong working relationships
Drive successful outcomes by establishing and enforcing best practices throughout project planning, testing, implementation, and defect resolution
Enjoy the flexibility of telework 3-4 days per week
What We're Looking For (MUST have:)
US Citizenship required
MUST possess an Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance
Intermediate experience with encryption methodologies
Software development skills
Agile methodology AND/OR modern development techniques
Java OR C++ OR Javascript experience
Experience leading software teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or minimum 8 years of equivalent technical experience)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a virtual and cross-functional team
Preferred Experience ( Not required):
Prior contracting experience in the Intelligence Community- Highly preferred
Demonstrated leadership in system testing, project documentation, and troubleshooting complex issues
Familiarity with REST APIs (5+ years), AWS, Spring, SOA, and containerization (Kubernetes a plus)
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
