Bank of Bird-in-Hand is actively seeking a Senior Technology Support Technician to join our team in Paradise, PA. The Senior Technology Support Technician is responsible serving as a key technical resource, supporting end-users, managing IT systems, and ensuring operational stability across the technology environment
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person (onsite/hybrid).
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Manage and resolve escalated tickets from junior support staff.
Support user onboarding/offboarding including provisioning accounts and equipment.
Document issues, resolutions, and processes in the ticketing system and knowledge base.
Train and mentor junior helpdesk staff.
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
Manage and monitor virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Perform system updates, patch management, and server backups.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshservice, ServiceNow)
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional
Familiarity with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop, AnyDesk
Qualifications:
BS degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of technology support experience
Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications
Knowledge of basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
