We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team in Columbia, Pennsylvania for a long term contract. This is a position that offers a great opportunity to contribute your skills in financial operations while working in a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

Process invoices efficiently, ensuring they are accurately coded and entered into the system.

Manage account coding and verify compliance with company policies and procedures.

Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and oversee check runs for timely payments.

Collaborate with vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.

Utilize automated systems such as Medius for invoice processing and approvals.

Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to identify and correct errors.

Maintain organized records of transactions and ensure proper documentation for audits.

Assist in developing and implementing improvements to accounts payable workflows.

Monitor accounts payable metrics to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Proficiency in account coding, invoice processing, and payment systems.

Familiarity with ACH transactions and performing regular check runs.

Strong computer skills, including experience with automated systems like Medius.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
