Job Title: Administrative Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining organized and efficient office operations, ensuring that all documentation and records are managed with precision and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Sort, file, and retrieve documents in both paper and digital formats.

Maintain filing systems and update records as needed.

Scan, copy, and archive documents.

Assist with document destruction and records retention schedules.

Respond to requests for information and locate files as needed.

Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Perform general clerical duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in administrative support and data entry.

Experience with filing and Microsoft Office.

Strong clerical and administrative skills.

Excellent file sorting capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and scanning software.

Prior experience in an office or clerical role is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a start time of 8 am. There is flexibility for part-time work if preferred, but ample work is available for a full-time role. The office is located in Yorktown, Virginia, with a small company presence but opportunities for growth, especially in New Jersey. The work environment is family-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere where employees can bring their dogs to work.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Yorktown, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
