As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for guests and staff. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will also provide exceptional customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to everyone on site. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff at the hotel or resort by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including public areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with hotel or resort management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain visible and approachable to guests and employees, offering assistance and information as appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and driving experience is preferred.
A valid Guard Card is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
