Administrative Assistant - Captain Cook Hawaii

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for an Administrative Assistant in Captain Cook on Hawaii Island. This is a Full-Time position 40 hours a week, possible temp to hire position.

This position is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and ensuring compliance with documented processes at a local coffee mill.

This role ensures that coffee milling operations adhere to established standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices to maintain product quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The admin will evaluate procedures, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance process documentation and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry: o Ensure PO data entry matches the Receipt ticket generated.

Process Review and Auditing.

Conduct regular audits of coffee milling processes.

Verify that all processes align with Kona Mill's quality, safety, and environmental guidelines

Review existing process documentation for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.

Compliance Monitoring.

Conduct spot checks and inspections to ensure consistent application of processes

. - Report non-compliance issues and work with management to implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with mill manager to update procedures and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, non-conformities, and recommendations.

Maintain records of audits, compliance checks, and corrective actions for regulatory and internal purposes.

Qualifications:

Education: Agriculture, Quality Management, or a related field desirable.

2+ years of experience in auditing, quality assurance, or process management, preferably in coffee production or food processing.

Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
