Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Program Analyst to help support our DISA client in the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. This position requires the employee to report full-time, onsite.
As a Program Analyst, you will perform a variety of general administrative and analytical tasks in support of the day-to-day operations of the Projects Team.
HOW A PROGRAM ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Program Analyst supports the development and delivery of accurate and timely engineering estimates within a defined 12-day turnaround cycle.
This role requires a strong blend of analytical skills, project coordination, and technical understanding to ensure estimates meet program standards, align with organizational policies, and address customer requirements.
The Program Analyst works closely with engineers, project managers, and leadership to validate data, document assumptions, and deliver high-quality cost and labor assessments in support of program goals.
Collects and analyzes technical requirements, design inputs, and customer specifications to support the preparation of engineering estimates.Develops, reviews, and refines cost and labor estimates using standardized tools, methodologies, and historical data.
Ensures accuracy and quality of estimates by validating assumptions with technical teams and cross-referencing prior work.
Tracks and monitors the 12-day estimate cycle, ensuring deliverables are completed within established deadlines and escalating risks when necessary.Prepares clear documentation, including assumptions, methodologies, and risk considerations, to accompany submitted estimates.
Maintains records of estimates, tracks accuracy trends, and generates reports on performance metrics such as turnaround time and resource utilization.
Collaborates with program leadership, engineering teams, and finance to ensure alignment across technical, cost, and schedule perspectives.
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and contributes to the enhancement of estimating tools, templates, and knowledge repositories.
Communicates findings, impacts, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED - REQUIRED **:
CLEARANCE** : Active Secret clearance
EDUCATION : Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
YEAR'S EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of related administrative experience.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience in cost estimating, project analysis, or engineering support.
Familiarity with engineering or IT infrastructure programs preferred.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using estimating or project management tools is desirable.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must have 2+ years' experience in composing and producing technical documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using estimating or project management tools is desirable.

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
