As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the site, remaining visible to help create a reassuring presence, and responding to various situations as they arise. You will also interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while assisting with any questions or concerns. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards, and report observations according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal on site.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required in the job state and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
