We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the International Search team, helping shape the way customers discover and engage with products.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bring strong technical expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to lead and participate in large-scale initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software that powers search experiences for millions of users.
What you'll do...
Lead and contribute to full-stack development projects with a strong focus on backend and frontend technologies.
Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and Spring Boot.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and other engineering teams.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Own features end-to-end, from architecture to deployment, monitoring, and support.
Promote and demonstrate engineering best practices in unit and integration testing.
What you'll bring...
7+ years of professional experience in software development (required).
5 + Strong programming experience in Java (required); experience with Python and JavaScript is a plus
2+ years of hands-on experience in frontend development using JavaScript/React.
Strong programming experience in Java (required); experience with Python and JavaScript is a plus.
Experience with Spring Boot framework (required).
Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test automation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
Nice to Have...
Experience with Apache Solr, Cosmos DB, or Apache Airflow.
Experience in Search or Recommendation systems is a plus.
