CACI is seeking a Lead Automation Test Engineer to join our team and support the Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology (IT) (BEAGLE) contract. Responsibilities:
As a Lead Software Test Automation Engineer, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex web and mobile applications supporting mission critical systems.
-Define, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks and best practices, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficiency.
-Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cucumber (BDD).
-Mentor and guide test engineers, provide technical expertise, code reviews.
-Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tools.
-Participate in Agile Scrum development methodology ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, scrum, backlog refinement, defining tasks/tests, estimating LOE, testing, tracking work done, retrospective, demonstration, etc.)
-Champion quality software.
Qualifications:
Required:
U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include, but are not limited to:
1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
1-year check for illegal drug use
3-year check for felony convictions
Expertise in Manual Functional Testing processes, Automated Testing (Java, Selenium, Cucumber, SQL), and Continuous Integration
College degree (B.S. or greater) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
7+ years of experience in an IT related field (7+ years) with 5-7 or more years analyzing, designing, and implementing software test automation solutions
Strong proficiency in Java for test automation development.
Expert-level experience with Selenium WebDriver for building and maintaining robust web automation frameworks.
Demonstrated experience with Cucumber/Gherkin (BDD) for defining and executing automated test scenarios.
Advanced SQL querying skills for backend validation, data manipulation, and database testing.
Expertise with API testing (e.g., authentication, response codes, payload creation, payload validation) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
Proficiency with test management tools (Jira preferred) and version control systems (Git preferred).
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Desired:
-Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and testing applications deployed in the cloud.
-Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar.
-Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
-Experience with accessibility Section 508 testing using ANDI.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$103,800 - $218,100
