JOB SUMMARY:
As an SAP Program Manager at Polaris, you will lead the internal coordination and execution of a large-scale SAP implementation in partnership with a global system integrator. You will apply operational discipline and strategic oversight to ensure the program delivers business value and transformation. You will enable the Digital & Information Technology (D&IT) organization to thrive by removing barriers, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution across business units.
This role requires deep expertise in program management, change management, and enterprise systems implementation-particularly SAP. You will serve as a strategic partner to Digital Product Leaders and Business Unit stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and successful delivery of SAP capabilities that support long-range planning and operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Management
Lead internal program delivery and coordination for the SAP implementation, working closely with a global system integrator responsible for overall project execution.
Serve as the primary liaison between Polaris stakeholders and the system implementor to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, and issue resolution.
Manage cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are achieved.
Identify and manage interdependencies across business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Apply Agile/Waterfall hybrid methodologies to manage program phases, sprints, and releases.
Portfolio Insights
Partner with Digital Product Leaders and SAP stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and portfolio transparency.
Provide executive-level reporting and insights for Monthly Operating Reviews, GBU Staff Meetings, and SAP Steering Committees.
Track and report on SAP program KPIs, risks, and benefits realization.
SAP Product Operations
Establish and maintain templates, governance frameworks, and best practices for SAP program delivery.
Administer SAP-related tools and platforms, ensuring proper usage and data integrity.
Facilitate collaboration across Enterprise Architecture, SAP Functional Leads, Technical Teams, and Business Process Owners.
Apply LEAN principles to streamline SAP implementation processes and eliminate non-value-added activities.
Change Management
Develop and execute change management strategies to support SAP adoption across employees, customers, and dealers.
Partner with business leaders to identify risks, define mitigation plans, and ensure stakeholder engagement.
Drive training, communication, and readiness activities to maximize ROI and minimize resistance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
10+ years of experience in enterprise technology and business strategy.
5+ years of program management experience leading large-scale ERP implementations (SAP preferred).
Proven success in change management and stakeholder alignment for enterprise transformation.
Experience in business architecture, process mapping, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Experience with SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD) and integration strategies.
Familiarity with Agile and scaled frameworks (e.g., Scrum@Scale, SAFe) is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Hybrid working model- in-office and home office environment
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $120,000 to $160,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
