Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (Manpower) in the S-1 Department of MARINE CORPS AIR STATION YUMA. Responsibilities You will gather, interpret, analyze, and correlate narrative and statistical information to validate staffing requirements. You will compile and analyze the manpower requirements of the Air Station and recommend organizational structure and allocations of manpower resources. You will prepare various management reports for higher headquarters and respond to a variety of data calls for specific on-board personnel and provide analyses and justifications. You will participate in reviews on manpower issues for identifying/considering conversion billets to contract and/or conversion from contract to civil service. You will study the structure and functions of organizations with interrelated work processes or functions to resolve issues and propose new organizational structures, realignment of functions, and staffing levels to improve efficiency. You will analyze current and proposed manpower operating programs to evaluate their actual potential of effectiveness in achieving objectives. You will prepare annual budget and mid-year review submissions with analysis and justifications. You will forecast and estimate program requirements and prepare programmatic reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical, and narrative data in standard format for presentations and briefings to staff personnel/supervisors and managers. You will serve as Operational Sponsor to reserve Marines assigned to the Installation's Reserve Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) Program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising on organization, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, management controls, information and documentation systems, and/or similar functions of management.
