As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, and monitoring visitor activity. You will conduct routine patrols throughout assigned areas, remain highly visible to address any security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual or suspicious behavior or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Document and maintain records of access control activities, incidents, and other security-related occurrences as required.
Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control within a food and beverage production environment.

Availability across various days and shifts
Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
