As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling access points. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will also provide outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns. This position requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the food and beverage location.
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any irregularities.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
Support the implementation of site-specific security-related procedures and participate in emergency response activities as required.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
