Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Carson, California. This role requires a finance specialist with a strong background in general ledger accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting processes and demonstrate the ability to contribute to organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage full-cycle general ledger accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Conduct detailed cost accounting and cost analysis to support project and operational decision-making.

Prepare and present financial reports, management summaries, and variance analyses.

Monitor and report on the financial performance of capital projects and fixed assets.

Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning.

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies in financial practices.

Lead bank reconciliation efforts, particularly for inventory-related accounts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and procedures.

Identify opportunities for skill development and prepare for potential advancement into leadership roles. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in full-cycle general ledger accounting.

Proven experience in manufacturing accounting, with aerospace industry knowledge preferred.

Proficiency in month-end close processes, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.

Strong background in cost accounting, including standard cost and manufacturing cost methods.

Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Familiarity with variance analysis and capital project accounting.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
