Accounting Assistant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. In this long-term contract position, you will be responsible for supporting both accounting and administrative functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, including coding and entering invoices accurately.

Manage email communications related to collections and vendor inquiries.

Assist with onboarding activities, including entering HR data and setting up seasonal staff.

Support benefit enrollment processes by ensuring accurate data entry and platform updates.

Organize and clean up employee files to maintain compliance and accessibility.

Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, document management, and correspondence.

Utilize software tools such as Sage Intacct, Asana, and Dropbox to streamline workflows.

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and projects.

Provide assistance with human resources administration and related processes. Requirements - Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and entry.

Strong skills in email communication and collection procedures.

Experience with HR administration, onboarding, and benefit enrollment.

Ability to perform accurate data entry and manage employee records.

Familiarity with software tools such as Sage Intacct, Asana, Dropbox, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.

Prior experience in administrative support roles is preferred.
