As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Through regular patrols and a strong visible presence, you will help to prevent security-related incidents and support the smooth operation of daily activities. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
Follow site-specific policies and security-related procedures to help maintain order and protect property.
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by answering questions and assisting with directions or site information.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any unusual conditions.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns if needed.

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
