Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Entry-Level Accountant to join our accounting team. The primary focus of this role will be handling billing tasks, including the scanning and approval of bills, as well as modifying bills, and assisting with various reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

Handle the of approved to ensure accurate billing information.

Ensure all charges, write-offs, and adjustments are properly accounted for; monitor write-offs and adjustments

Work with management to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy in client accounts.

Assist in reconciling any billing discrepancies, ensuring the timely resolution of issues regarding client accounts.

Coordinate with clients and internal departments to verify billing details and ensure accurate invoicing.

Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing billing reports, ensuring all billing entries are posted accurately and on time.

Collaborate with the accounting team to support financial reporting needs related to client billing and revenue recognition.

Process client payments received in person or over the phone, ensuring proper documentation and account updates.

Follow up with clients on outstanding payments as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all related tasks.

Ability to work with financial software or accounting systems.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and billing practices.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in a team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

Previous experience in an accounting or billing role is a plus, but not mandatory.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or other accounting software is a plus.
