As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent food and beverage location, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or vendors with access-related inquiries and directions.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, adapting to the unique needs of a food and beverage production environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct both regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and report any irregularities or unusual activity.
Document and report all access control activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
Support emergency response activities as needed, following established guidelines and procedures for the location.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
