As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic food and beverage production location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. What You'll Do:
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client procedures.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Support the enforcement of company and client policies related to access control and security-related matters within the food and beverage environment.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
