Recycling Sales Representative - Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen

Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is a leader in environmental, energy, and industrial services across North America. Safety-Kleen, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, focuses on providing environmentally responsible solvent recycling, parts cleaning, oil recycling, and other waste management services to industrial clients.

We are currently seeking a Recycling Sales Representative who will be responsible for selling our solvent recycling services to new and existing customers across the country. This Manager may be based anywhere in Central or Eastern United States.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development : Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to meet or exceed sales targets. Actively drive new business while fostering long-term relationships.

Customer Presentations : Tailor and deliver impactful presentations to clients, demonstrating how our solvent recycling solutions meet their unique process and sustainability needs.

Collaboration : Work closely with the sales and operations teams to create effective strategies that drive results and meet client expectations.

Customer Satisfaction : Ensure a seamless experience by providing follow-up on services to maintain client satisfaction and retention.

CRM Management : Accurately and consistently track sales activities in the CRM system to manage pipeline, client interactions, and sales performance.

What We're Looking For

Experience : 4+ years in the environmental services industry, ideally with knowledge of chemistry.

Sales Expertise : Proven ability to excel in sales, both externally (with clients) and internally (working with teams).

Communication Skills : Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills to build trust and influence decision-makers.

Travel Requirements : Ability to travel overnight 10-15% of the time.

Tech Skills : Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.

Teamwork & Negotiation : Strong collaboration skills and the ability to negotiate effectively to drive favorable outcomes for the company and the client.
