About the position:
We are currently seeking aDigital Marketing Specialistfor our growing Birmingham/Tuscaloosa division! Under the direction of our VP of Sales & Marketing, in collaboration with our Division President, the Digital Marketing Specialist will design, create, and deliver marketing related content that supports the marketing efforts of our division.
Our ideal candidate is well-versed in social media campaigns, comfortable teaching and coaching, understands the real estate industry, and is comfortable providing feedback for process improvement.
Essential Functions:
Strategize, plan, maintain, and manage content of all social media initiatives including Facebook, LinkedIn, and other division pilot programs; ensure all content is approved, accurate, and up-to-date
Implement social media best practices and integrate them into the marketing strategy
Determine target audience, create and launch campaigns to create buzz or generate leads through target audience
Maintain corporate sites with fresh, relevant, and inviting content; stay on top of industry trends for video, audio, photography, and social media
Provide feedback and analysis on social media online, content, and email marketing initiatives to Division leadership, as well as Region and Corporate Marketing; communicate all analytics and growth from social media initiatives to leadership
Train new sales agents on social media including approved practices and marketing changes
Write and review web-based marketing content to ensure grammar and information is accurate
Coordinate and execute all video production to include participating in pre-production strategy and planning meetings; develop, implement, and ensure brand consistency through video production process
Utilize Google Analytics to monitor, maintain, and report on overall domain as well as individual market reports
Collaborate with Online Sales team to train new sales agents on CRM
Provide feedback on current systems and processes; make process improvement recommendations as needed
Participate in corporate marketing initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Public Relations, Business, or other closely related field of study
2 years of digital marketing experience and/or training, including developing and analyzing public facing websites/webpages
Demonstrated knowledge of SEO/SEM, Web Analytics, and Social Media platforms
Advanced knowledge in Google Analytics, social media platforms, Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign) Photoshop, photography, and video editing software
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of digital marketing experience including social media experience in a corporate setting
Demonstrated knowledge of MLS and realtor sites such as Zillow and Realtor.com
Demonstrated experience in new home sales marketing is highly desired
Ability to travel overnight as needed
Working environment:
Digital Marketing Specialists work in a normal office setting and sometimes from model homes when conducting field visits. Regular, moderate noise levels are to be expected. Candidates should be comfortable frequently communicating with customers and possess the ability to stand or walk for 4 hours, up to 8 hours as well as sit for extended periods; kneel and bend at the waist; traverse up or down stairs; move across unlevel terrains; use hands to handle or feel objects and reach; possess close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; as well as ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly.
