Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Torrance, California. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-volume financial operations and contribute to the success of our transport industry organization. Responsibilities:

Handle accounts receivable processes with precision, ensuring timely collection of payments totaling approximately $100 million annually.

Investigate and resolve invoice disputes by collaborating with branch teams and maintaining clear communication.

Review aging reports to reconcile outstanding balances and ensure accurate financial records.

Utilize accounting software systems, including ERP and Epic Software, to streamline operations and maintain data integrity.

Coordinate with internal teams to address discrepancies and ensure smooth financial workflows.

Monitor cash handling activities and maintain accurate records of transactions.

Troubleshoot financial issues effectively, implementing solutions to improve efficiency.

Maintain compliance with organizational policies and financial regulations.

Provide regular reports and updates to management on accounts receivable performance. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

Proficiency in accounting software systems, such as ERP and Epic Software.

Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and cash handling procedures.

Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data, including aging reports.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve invoice disputes.

Familiarity with CRM tools and ADP financial services.

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with internal teams.
