Global Sourcing Manager Description Judd Wire Inc., a Sumitomo Electric
Group company, is looking for a Director of Global Supply Chain,
Logistics, Sourcing, and Purchasing in our Turners Falls, MA office.
This is a leadership role focused on overseeing all aspects of a
company\'s global supply chain operations, including group sourcing
strategies, managing logistics, and ensuring efficient purchasing
processes This role requires a strategic mindset to develop and
implement global supply chain strategies in support of the company goals
and objectives. Starting Pay: \$97,452.16/yr Job Duties and
Responsibilities Work with the purchasing site leadership to develop and
implement global sourcing and procurement strategies to align with
overall business objectives, including cost reduction, risk management,
and sustainability Establish and maintain relationships with global
suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets
quality, delivery, and cost requirements. Oversee the global logistics
network, including transportation, 3rd party warehousing, consignment
contracts, and distribution, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of
goods. Manage the procurement process, from sourcing and purchasing to
payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This
will be achieved through direct management of purchasing managers at our
manufacturing locations (currently Massachusetts, US & Aguascalientes,
Mexico). Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the
global supply chain and optimizing logistics operations. Develop the
knowledge and expertise of the supply chain and purchasing professionals
in our manufacturing locations (currently Massachusetts, US &
Aguascalientes, Mexico) improving mitigation of potential risks within
the global supply chain, such as supply disruptions, currency
fluctuations, and geopolitical instability. Qualifications Extensive
knowledge of global supply chain practices, procurement, and logistics
operations. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Experience in developing and implementing global sourcing strategies.
Proficiency in using supply chain management systems and tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Bachelor\'s degree in a related field (e.g., supply chain management,
business, engineering). Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred. Spanish
language skills an advantage. Benefits: Medical, Dental and Vision
