Summary You will serve as a LEAD POLICE OFFICER in the FORCE PROTECTION (N3AT) of WEPSTA FALLBROOK SET DET. Responsibilities You will secure crime scenes for evidence collection. You will perform contingency actions in response to incidents, emergencies, and hostile actions (e.g., active shooter, hazardous materials spill, bomb threat). You will distribute and balance workload and rotations among police officers. You will administer anti-terrorism, force protection, physical security, and law enforcement services for the protection of life and property. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Deploying specialized or advanced techniques, equipment, knowledge, or training; 3) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents; and 4) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations. Completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program is a condition of continued employment. Employee will be required to sign a continuing service agreement prior to travel to the academy.
